Cracker Barrel Holiday Hours 2026: Thanksgiving & Christmas

Cracker Barrel holiday hours can differ from its normal operating schedule, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you are planning a holiday meal or stopping at the Old Country Store, checking the specific date matters.

As of September 25, 2026, Cracker Barrel has published fall information for 2026, but a complete companywide 2026 Thanksgiving-and-Christmas operating schedule is not yet publicly confirmed on its official website. The latest official holiday information provides useful historical context, but previous-year hours should not automatically be treated as the 2026 schedule.

Quick Answer

Cracker Barrel’s complete 2026 holiday hours have not yet been publicly confirmed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and other major holidays.

For context, Cracker Barrel officially stated that its restaurants were open regular hours on Thanksgiving in 2025, while older corporate filings identify Christmas Day as a closure day and Christmas Eve as an early-closing day. Those historical schedules should not be assumed to apply unchanged in 2026.

Before making a holiday trip, verify your selected restaurant through Cracker Barrel’s location information or mobile app.

Cracker Barrel Holiday Hours 2026 at a Glance

This table reflects information available as of September 25, 2026. It does not convert previous holiday schedules into unconfirmed 2026 hours.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on Thanksgiving 2026?

Cracker Barrel has not yet publicly confirmed its companywide Thanksgiving Day 2026 restaurant hours in the official sources reviewed as of September 25, 2026.

There is strong recent precedent for Thanksgiving service. For Thanksgiving 2025, Cracker Barrel’s official holiday information stated that restaurants were open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day and served a traditional Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 a.m.

Another official Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving page for 2025 also stated that its restaurants were open on Thanksgiving and that Thanksgiving service began at 11 a.m.

That information applies to 2025, however. Until Cracker Barrel announces its 2026 schedule, it should not be presented as a guaranteed Thanksgiving 2026 opening time.

What Time Will Cracker Barrel Open on Thanksgiving 2026?

A companywide opening time for Thanksgiving Day 2026 is not yet publicly confirmed.

Cracker Barrel has used different wording in previous Thanksgiving announcements. Its 2025 materials described restaurants as operating regular hours, while its Thanksgiving meal service began at 11 a.m.

The start of a special Thanksgiving meal should not be confused with the restaurant’s opening time.

Will Cracker Barrel Serve Thanksgiving Dinner in 2026?

Cracker Barrel has a long-established history of Thanksgiving dine-in meals and Heat & Serve holiday meals, but the exact 2026 Thanksgiving menu, availability, pickup dates, and pricing should be verified once the company releases its 2026 holiday program.

In 2025, Cracker Barrel offered Thanksgiving Heat & Serve meals and a seasonal holiday menu. Those were 2025 offerings and should not be assumed to return unchanged in 2026.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on Christmas Day 2026?

Cracker Barrel’s Christmas Day 2026 operating status has not yet been specifically confirmed in current 2026 holiday information reviewed for this guide.

Historically, Cracker Barrel has closed its restaurants on Christmas Day. Corporate filings from previous years explicitly described Christmas Day as a closure day.

That history is useful when planning, but an older corporate schedule is not sufficient evidence to claim that every Cracker Barrel restaurant will definitely be closed on Christmas Day 2026.

Check the current information for your selected restaurant as December 25 approaches.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on Christmas Eve 2026?

Cracker Barrel has historically operated on reduced hours on Christmas Eve. Older official corporate documents specifically reported a 2 p.m. Christmas Eve closing time.

However, a companywide 2 p.m. closing time for Christmas Eve 2026 is not currently confirmed by a 2026 holiday announcement.

Do not rely on the historical closing time without checking the current schedule for your restaurant.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on New Year’s Day 2026?

A special companywide New Year’s Day holiday schedule is not publicly confirmed in the current official information reviewed for this guide.

Because individual restaurant information is the most relevant source for a specific visit, check your selected location rather than assuming that normal operating hours apply.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on New Year’s Eve?

Cracker Barrel has not published a universal 2026 New Year’s Eve schedule in the official sources reviewed.

New Year’s Eve can also fall outside the period covered by earlier Thanksgiving and Christmas announcements. Check the selected restaurant’s current hours closer to December 31.

Is Cracker Barrel Open on Easter?

Cracker Barrel has offered Easter-related Heat & Serve holiday meals, but the availability of holiday take-home meals does not by itself establish restaurant operating hours.

A universal Easter restaurant schedule should therefore be verified for the specific year and location rather than inferred from seasonal meal availability.

Cracker Barrel Hours on Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day

Current companywide special operating hours for Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day are not universally published in the official information reviewed for this guide.

If Cracker Barrel does not announce special hours for a particular holiday, use the official location information for the restaurant you intend to visit. Store operating hours shown for that location are more useful than relying on a generic holiday-hours list.

Veterans Day at Cracker Barrel

Veterans Day can include special Cracker Barrel promotions, but promotional availability and restaurant operating hours are separate issues.

For example, Cracker Barrel announced a Veterans Day promotion for November 11, 2025, at its locations. That promotion was specifically tied to 2025 and should not be interpreted as confirmation of a 2026 offer or 2026 holiday schedule.

Cracker Barrel Thanksgiving and Christmas Meals

Cracker Barrel regularly uses the holiday season for special dine-in and take-home offerings, but menus, pickup windows, prices, and availability can change from year to year.

For the 2025 holiday season, Cracker Barrel offered Thanksgiving Heat & Serve meals for preorder and also announced Christmas-season Heat & Serve options. The Thanksgiving choices included meals designed for different group sizes.

Those details are historical 2025 information. Customers planning for 2026 should wait for the current holiday menu before assuming that the same packages, foods, prices, or pickup dates will return.

Thanksgiving Dine-In Meal

In 2025, Cracker Barrel’s official Thanksgiving information described a traditional Thanksgiving meal served beginning at 11 a.m.

The 2026 Thanksgiving dine-in menu and serving schedule are not yet confirmed as of September 25, 2026.

Heat & Serve Holiday Meals

Cracker Barrel has offered refrigerated Heat & Serve meals intended to be heated at home for Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings.

Because these are seasonal programs, availability periods, meal contents, serving sizes, and prices should be checked against the current 2026 holiday offering once released rather than copied from 2025.

Do Cracker Barrel Holiday Hours Vary by Location?

For a holiday visit, the specific restaurant’s current information should always be checked.

This is particularly important when the company has not yet released a nationwide holiday schedule for the year. A location’s normal opening hours also should not automatically be interpreted as proof that those same hours will apply on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or another major holiday.

Holiday meal availability can be a separate issue from operating hours as well. A restaurant being open does not guarantee that every seasonal menu item or take-home meal will be available.

How to Check Cracker Barrel Holiday Hours Near You

The most reliable approach is to identify the exact Cracker Barrel restaurant you plan to visit and check its current information close to the holiday.

Cracker Barrel provides an official location finder where customers can search by city, state, or ZIP code. Its mobile app can also find nearby locations, display hours, provide directions, show menus, and support ordering where available.

For an important holiday trip, use this order:

1. Check the official Cracker Barrel location information.
2. Review the selected restaurant in the Cracker Barrel app.
3. Look for a current corporate holiday announcement.
4. Call the restaurant directly if holiday hours remain unclear.
5. Use third-party map listings only as a secondary check.

Remember that restaurant opening hours and special holiday meal serving times are not necessarily the same thing.

Check Holiday Information in the Cracker Barrel App

Cracker Barrel’s official mobile app includes location search, restaurant hours, directions, menu browsing, ordering, current wait times, and online waitlist functionality.

These features can be especially useful during the holidays because you can select the restaurant you actually intend to visit instead of relying on a generic schedule.

Menu availability and restaurant hours should still be treated separately. Seeing an item in an ordering system does not establish a nationwide holiday policy.

Historical Holiday Hours vs. 2026 Hours

Previous holiday schedules can help explain Cracker Barrel’s traditional operating pattern, but they should not be substituted for a current announcement.

This distinction is important because seasonal operating decisions and holiday offerings can change.

Sources & Verification

This guide was last checked on September 25, 2026 using Cracker Barrel’s official website, official newsroom, official location information, mobile-app information, holiday announcements, and corporate materials.

Cracker Barrel’s August 2026 fall announcement was available at the time of verification, but a complete Thanksgiving-and-Christmas 2026 restaurant-hours schedule had not yet been publicly confirmed in the official materials reviewed.

Recent 2025 Thanksgiving information was used only as historical context, not as proof of 2026 hours. Older official corporate documents were likewise used to identify the company’s historical Christmas Eve and Christmas Day practices rather than present them as guaranteed 2026 policy.

Before You Go

The most important point is that Cracker Barrel Holiday Hours for 2026 are not yet fully confirmed as of September 25. Recent official information shows that Cracker Barrel was open on Thanksgiving in 2025, while company records document a longstanding history of Christmas Day closures and reduced Christmas Eve hours.

For Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or another major holiday in 2026, check your exact Cracker Barrel location shortly before leaving. That will give you a more reliable answer than assuming a previous year’s holiday schedule still applies.
