Outback Steakhouse Holiday Hours 2026: Open & Closed Days
Outback Steakhouse holiday hours are important to check before planning a holiday lunch or dinner because regular restaurant hours do not necessarily apply on major holidays. For 2026, current Outback Steakhouse information confirms closures on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. For many other holidays, a single nationwide special-hours schedule is not publicly confirmed, so operating times should be checked for the specific restaurant you plan to visit.
Holiday hours can also differ from a restaurant’s normal weekly schedule, especially around Christmas Eve and other dates when an individual location may close earlier.
Quick Answer
Outback Steakhouse is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, according to current official Outback Steakhouse employment information. For holidays such as New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve, exact nationwide holiday hours are not universally published.
When Outback is open on a holiday, the safest approach is to check the official location information for your selected restaurant because opening and closing times can differ.

Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Thanksgiving?
No. Current official Outback Steakhouse employment information states that restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving Day so employees can spend the holiday with family and friends.
In 2026, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26.
Because Thanksgiving is a confirmed closure, do not rely on a restaurant’s normal Thursday hours when planning a visit for Thanksgiving Day.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Christmas Day?
No. Outback Steakhouse’s current official employment information identifies Christmas Day as a closure day.
Christmas Day falls on Friday, December 25, 2026.
Regular Friday operating hours therefore should not be used to determine Christmas Day availability.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Christmas Eve?
Christmas Eve should be treated differently from Christmas Day.
A universal 2026 Christmas Eve closing time is not publicly confirmed for every Outback Steakhouse restaurant. Location-specific official information shows that special Christmas Eve hours can occur.
For example, Outback’s official location information for its Horsham, Pennsylvania restaurant currently notes a 9:00 PM closing time on Christmas Eve. That is useful evidence that holiday-eve schedules can differ from standard operating hours, but it should not be applied to every Outback location.
Check your specific restaurant before visiting on Thursday, December 24, 2026.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on New Year’s Day?
A single nationwide 2026 New Year’s Day schedule is not publicly confirmed in the current official information reviewed for this guide.
New Year’s Day falls on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
If you are planning a visit, check the selected Outback Steakhouse location rather than assuming its normal Thursday schedule applies.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on New Year’s Eve?
Exact nationwide New Year’s Eve hours are not universally confirmed.
New Year’s Eve falls on Thursday, December 31, 2026. Individual restaurants may publish location-specific operating information closer to the date.
Because New Year’s Eve can involve modified closing times at restaurants generally, the location’s current official schedule is more useful than a standard weekly timetable.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Easter?
There is no universal Easter Sunday schedule confirmed in the current official information reviewed for this guide.
Easter Sunday falls on April 5, 2026.
Check your selected Outback Steakhouse restaurant for its actual Easter operating hours rather than relying on its usual Sunday schedule.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Memorial Day?
A nationwide special schedule for Memorial Day is not universally confirmed.
Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 25, 2026. If you are visiting Outback Steakhouse on Memorial Day, use the restaurant’s official location information to verify whether regular or modified hours apply.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Independence Day?
A single nationwide Independence Day operating schedule is not publicly confirmed for every Outback Steakhouse restaurant.
Independence Day falls on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
Check the exact restaurant you plan to visit because normal Saturday hours should not automatically be treated as confirmed July 4 holiday hours.
Is Outback Steakhouse Open on Labor Day?
Exact Labor Day hours are not universally confirmed across Outback Steakhouse locations.
Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7, 2026. Customers should verify the selected restaurant’s schedule when planning a holiday visit.
Why Outback Steakhouse Holiday Hours Can Differ
Normal Outback Steakhouse hours are not identical across all restaurants.
Official location pages show meaningful differences even during ordinary weeks. Some restaurants close earlier on Sundays, while others remain open later on Friday and Saturday nights. Special holiday schedules can add another layer of variation.
This is why a normal Monday-through-Sunday schedule should not be presented as a nationwide holiday timetable.
The important distinction is:
- Thanksgiving Day: Confirmed closure
- Christmas Day: Confirmed closure
- Other holidays: Verify the selected restaurant
- Holiday eves: Special closing times may apply at individual locations
Regular Hours Are Not the Same at Every Outback
Current official location information demonstrates why checking the individual restaurant matters.
For example, the Outback Steakhouse on Westheimer Road in Houston currently lists regular hours of 11:00 AM–10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 AM–11:00 PM Friday and Saturday.
The Las Vegas Boulevard location currently lists 11:00 AM–11:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and stays open until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Horsham, Pennsylvania location currently lists different closing times, including a 9:00 PM Sunday closing and later hours on Friday and Saturday.
These are examples of regular location-specific schedules, not universal Outback Steakhouse hours and not guaranteed holiday hours.
Do Outback Steakhouse Holiday Hours Vary by Location?
Yes, location differences matter whenever a chainwide closure or special schedule has not been confirmed.
Outback’s official location pages provide restaurant-specific operating hours, and those regular schedules already differ among locations. Holiday schedules can require an additional check.
This is particularly important for:
- Christmas Eve
- New Year’s Eve
- New Year’s Day
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Other federal or local holidays
For Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, current official Outback information provides a clear closure answer. For other holidays, use location-specific information.
How to Check Outback Steakhouse Holiday Hours Near You
The most reliable method is to use Outback Steakhouse’s official location finder and search by city, state, or ZIP code.
After choosing the restaurant, review its current hours and any special notice displayed on the official location page.
You can also:
- Check the restaurant’s official location page.
- Review the Outback ordering system after selecting your restaurant.
- Call the restaurant directly if holiday hours are not displayed.
- Use Google Maps as a secondary check, especially close to the holiday.
Calling the restaurant can be particularly useful on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and other dates when closing times may be modified.
Regular Hours vs. Holiday Hours
It is important not to confuse standard operating hours with confirmed holiday hours.
If an Outback location normally operates from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Thursday, that does not mean it will operate those hours on Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a confirmed closure.
Similarly, a restaurant’s regular Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday schedule does not establish its Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve closing time.
Always prioritize a holiday-specific notice over the standard weekly schedule.
Ordering, Takeaway, and Delivery on Holidays
Official Outback location pages show that services such as online ordering, curbside takeaway, and delivery are available at many restaurants. However, service availability is location-specific.
These options should not be assumed to operate when the dining room is closed for a holiday.
In particular, the confirmed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day closures should not be interpreted as regular delivery or takeaway days unless the selected location explicitly provides different information.
For other holidays, select your restaurant in Outback’s official ordering system to see current ordering availability.
Holiday Menu Availability
Outback Steakhouse’s normal menu should not automatically be described as a special holiday menu.
Menu availability, seasonal items, limited-time offers, and restaurant-specific availability can change. Check the current menu for your selected location if a particular steak, entrée, appetizer, dessert, or other item is important to your holiday plans.
The same principle applies to prices and promotions. Current local menu information is more reliable than an old holiday offer or previously advertised promotion.
