Costco Pharmacy Hours 2026: Weekday, Saturday & Sunday Times
Costco Pharmacy hours are not the same as regular Costco warehouse hours. A warehouse may remain open into the evening or on Sunday even when its pharmacy counter is closed. Current official Costco location pages also show differences in closing times among pharmacies, so there is no single schedule that applies to every U.S. location.
As of September 2026, several Costco pharmacies checked across different states open at 9:00 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and are closed on Sundays, but closing times vary. Some locations also warn of a possible 30-minute midday pharmacy closure when only one pharmacist is on duty.
Quick Answer
Many Costco Pharmacy locations currently list hours beginning at 9:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday, with Sunday closed. However, closing times are location-specific. For example, some verified pharmacies close at 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while others stay open until 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Always check the Pharmacy section of your specific Costco warehouse page before visiting, especially for evening pickups and holidays.

What Are Costco Pharmacy Hours?
Costco publishes pharmacy hours separately for individual warehouses rather than providing one universal national opening-and-closing schedule.
A September 2026 review of official Costco pages shows meaningful differences. Los Feliz, California, Liberty Hill, Texas, and Robinson, Pennsylvania currently list their pharmacies as 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Saturday, and closed Sunday.
Other locations stay open later. Seattle, Washington lists 9:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Saturday, with Sunday closed. Gaithersburg, Maryland lists the same schedule.
This is why warehouse-level verification matters more than relying on a generic Costco Pharmacy timetable.
Costco Pharmacy Hours by Location
The following examples were checked against current official Costco warehouse information in September 2026.
| Costco Location | Monday–Friday | Saturday | Sunday |
|---|---|---|---|
| Los Feliz, California | 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. | 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. | Closed |
| Seattle, Washington | 9:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m. | 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. | Closed |
| Liberty Hill, Texas | 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. | 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. | Closed |
| Gaithersburg, Maryland | 9:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m. | 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. | Closed |
| Robinson, Pennsylvania | 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. | 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. | Closed |
The sample demonstrates why the safest answer to “What time does Costco Pharmacy close?” depends on the warehouse. Even among the locations checked, weekday closing time ranged from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
What Time Does Costco Pharmacy Open?
The Costco pharmacies sampled for this guide list a 9:00 a.m. opening time Monday through Saturday.
That should not be treated as a promise for every Costco Pharmacy. Costco instructs customers looking for warehouse-service hours, including Pharmacy, to find their desired warehouse and review its Store Details.
This distinction is particularly important because the main warehouse may have different opening hours from the pharmacy counter.
What Time Does Costco Pharmacy Close?
There is no single closing time for every Costco Pharmacy.
Several locations checked for this guide close at 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, while Seattle and Gaithersburg currently list pharmacy service until 8:30 p.m. on those days.
Saturday closing times also differ. Locations such as Los Feliz, Liberty Hill and Robinson list 6:00 p.m., while Seattle and Gaithersburg list 7:00 p.m.
If you plan to pick up a prescription near closing time, use your specific warehouse’s Pharmacy listing rather than the general warehouse closing time.
Is Costco Pharmacy Open on Saturday?
Yes, the Costco Pharmacy locations checked for this guide are open on Saturday.
Saturday hours can be shorter than weekday hours. Examples from current official Costco pages include:
- 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
There are also location differences in opening times elsewhere in Costco’s network. For example, the Allen, Texas pharmacy currently lists Saturday service beginning at 9:30 a.m., reinforcing the need to verify the exact warehouse rather than assuming 9:00 a.m. applies everywhere.
Is Costco Pharmacy Open on Sunday?
The Costco pharmacies sampled for this guide are closed on Sunday, including locations checked in California, Washington, Texas, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
However, this article does not treat that sample as proof of a universal corporate Sunday-hours policy for every Costco pharmacy. Check your selected warehouse’s current Pharmacy details before making a trip.
The warehouse itself may still be open on Sunday even though the pharmacy counter is closed.
Does Costco Pharmacy Close for Lunch?
Some Costco location pages include an important pharmacist-duty notice.
At locations such as Los Feliz, Seattle, Liberty Hill, Gaithersburg and Robinson, Costco states that when only one pharmacist is on duty, the Pharmacy may be closed for 30 minutes between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
This does not mean every Costco Pharmacy automatically closes for that entire hour. It describes a possible 30-minute closure within that window when only one pharmacist is working.
If you are planning a prescription pickup around midday, check your location page or call the pharmacy first.
Costco Pharmacy Hours vs. Warehouse Hours
Do not assume that Costco Pharmacy follows the main warehouse schedule.
A warehouse page can display separate hours for several services, including:
- Main warehouse
- Pharmacy
- Tire Service Center
- Gas station
- Optical Department
For example, some Costco warehouses in the sample remain open on Sunday while their pharmacies list Sunday as closed. The pharmacy can also close earlier than the main warehouse on weekdays or Saturdays.
When checking online, look specifically for the Pharmacy heading under Warehouse Services.
Costco Pharmacy Holiday Hours
Costco does not provide one pharmacy timetable in the information reviewed here that can safely be applied to every major holiday and every warehouse.
The official Costco warehouse finder allows customers to select a warehouse and view its hours and upcoming holiday closures. Because pharmacy service hours are listed separately from general warehouse hours, check both pieces of information when planning a holiday prescription pickup.
Avoid assuming that a warehouse’s holiday schedule automatically means its pharmacy counter follows identical hours.
For time-sensitive medication, checking ahead is especially useful because a regular Sunday closure or holiday schedule could affect when the pharmacy is available.
Do Costco Pharmacy Hours Vary by Location?
Yes. Current official Costco warehouse pages demonstrate that pharmacy schedules vary.
The clearest difference in the locations reviewed is closing time. Los Feliz and Liberty Hill list 7:00 p.m. weekday pharmacy closings, while Seattle and Gaithersburg list 8:30 p.m.
Saturday schedules also differ, and the Allen, Texas location currently opens its pharmacy at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday rather than 9:00 a.m.
These are genuine location-level differences, not estimates.
Can You Use Costco Pharmacy Without a Membership?
Yes. Costco’s customer-service information states that you do not need a Costco membership to purchase prescription drugs through Costco Pharmacy online or at its warehouses.
Costco also states that nonmembers may purchase prescriptions at a Costco pharmacy using accepted payment methods.
This applies to prescription purchases and should not be confused with general warehouse shopping privileges.
Costco Pharmacy Online and Home Delivery Hours
Online prescription management is different from the operating hours of a physical pharmacy counter.
Costco states that its pharmacy system is available 24/7 to refill prescriptions, order new prescriptions and check prescription status.
Costco’s Mail Order Pharmacy agent hours are currently listed as:
| Day | Pharmacy Agent Hours |
|---|---|
| Monday–Friday | 5:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. PT |
| Saturday | 9:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. PT |
| Sunday | No agent hours listed |
The ability to manage certain prescription tasks online 24/7 does not mean your local Costco Pharmacy counter is physically open 24 hours.
Costco Pharmacy Services
Costco’s current pharmacy information includes services related to prescription filling, warehouse pickup, prescription transfers, drug pricing, immunizations and mail-order prescriptions.
The online pharmacy system also allows customers to manage prescription-related tasks without relying solely on the physical counter’s opening hours.
Service and medication availability can differ, so a listed pharmacy opening time does not guarantee that every service or prescription will be immediately available.
How to Check Costco Pharmacy Hours Near You
The most reliable method is Costco’s official warehouse finder.
- Search for your city, state or ZIP code in Costco’s warehouse finder.
- Select the warehouse you plan to visit.
- Scroll to Warehouse Services.
- Find the Pharmacy section.
- Check the listed weekday and weekend hours.
- Review any pharmacist-break notice or upcoming holiday information.
- Call the pharmacy using the number on the location page if your pickup is time-sensitive.
Be careful not to copy the main warehouse hours by mistake. Pharmacy hours appear separately and may be significantly shorter.

Before You Go
Costco Pharmacy hours should be checked separately from regular warehouse hours.
