EPCOT Hours 2026: Opening, Closing & Early Entry Times
Planning a visit to EPCOT at Walt Disney World Resort? Knowing the park’s opening and closing times can help you organize your day, plan attractions, make dining reservations, and avoid arriving after an important experience has ended.
EPCOT hours can change depending on the date, special events, seasonal schedules, and operating decisions. Guests staying at eligible Disney Resort hotels may also have access to additional park time through Early Theme Park Entry or Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
This guide explains how EPCOT hours work in 2026, where to find the official daily schedule, and what to know about early entry, evening access, attractions, restaurants, and holidays.
Quick Answer
EPCOT does not have one guaranteed opening and closing schedule for every date in 2026. The park’s regular operating hours are published through the official Walt Disney World calendar and My Disney Experience app. Early Theme Park Entry generally provides eligible hotel guests access 30 minutes before regular park opening. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on select nights for qualifying guests. Always check your specific visit date for the confirmed schedule.

What Time Does EPCOT Open?
EPCOT opens at 9:00 AM on October 10, 2026, according to the official Walt Disney World operating calendar.
Opening times are published by date, so visitors should not assume that every day follows an identical schedule.
Does EPCOT Open at 8:30 AM?
For guests eligible for Early Theme Park Entry, EPCOT’s scheduled early access begins at 8:30 AM on October 10.
This earlier access is not the same as the regular public opening time. Guests must meet the applicable hotel and admission requirements.
Can You Enter EPCOT Before Opening?
Eligible hotel guests can enter during the designated early-entry period. Entry procedures and attraction availability are subject to Disney’s operating arrangements.
Other visitors should plan around the published regular opening time rather than assuming early access is available to everyone.
What Time Does EPCOT Close?
EPCOT is scheduled to close at 9:00 PM on October 10, 2026.
The posted closing time represents the end of regular park operating hours. It does not necessarily mean every restaurant, attraction, store, or entertainment experience operates until that exact time.
Does EPCOT Stay Open Until 11:00 PM?
On certain nights, qualifying resort guests can enjoy Extended Evening Theme Park Hours after regular closing.
For example, Disney’s official calendar listed an Extended Evening Hours period from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM on October 5, 2026.
This is a separate hotel-guest benefit, not a regular 11:00 PM closing time for all visitors.
EPCOT Opening and Closing Hours by Day
The official calendar listed the following operating hours for October 7–11, 2026.
| Day | Date | Regular Park Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Wednesday | October 7 | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
| Thursday | October 8 | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
| Friday | October 9 | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
| Saturday | October 10 | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
| Sunday | October 11 | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
Early Theme Park Entry was listed from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM on all five dates.
Schedule verification: October 10, 2026, using Disney’s published Hours & Events Calendar.
This table is a verified five-day snapshot, not a permanent weekly schedule.
EPCOT Early Theme Park Entry Hours
Early Theme Park Entry allows qualifying guests to access participating Walt Disney World theme parks before the regular opening time.
Disney confirms that registered guests staying at Disney Resort hotels and certain other participating hotels can receive 30 minutes of early entry.
The benefit continues through 2027 under Disney’s currently published information.
Who Qualifies for Early Entry?
Eligible guests include those staying at Disney Resort hotels and select participating non-Disney hotels.
Requirements include:
- Staying at a qualifying hotel.
- Having valid theme park admission.
- Meeting any applicable theme park reservation requirements.
- Providing acceptable hotel eligibility credentials when required.
What Attractions Are Open During Early Entry?
Disney publishes a list of attractions participating in Early Theme Park Entry.
Not every EPCOT attraction necessarily operates during this period. Attraction availability can change due to maintenance, technical issues, or operational decisions.
Guests should review the current early-entry attraction list before deciding which attraction to visit first.
EPCOT Extended Evening Theme Park Hours
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours provide additional park access on select nights to guests staying at eligible hotels.
Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, this benefit is not available to every Disney Resort hotel guest.
Who Can Use Extended Evening Hours?
Disney identifies the following accommodation categories as eligible:
- Disney Deluxe Resort hotels
- Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
- Certain other participating hotels
Guests must also satisfy the applicable admission and reservation requirements.
How Long Are Extended Evening Hours?
The duration depends on the scheduled event.
For example, EPCOT’s published October 5, 2026, schedule showed:
| Access Period | Time |
|---|---|
| Regular park hours | 9:00 AM–9:00 PM |
| Extended Evening Hours | 9:00 PM–11:00 PM |
| Additional access | 2 hours |
The additional period is restricted to eligible guests. It should not be confused with a general extension of regular park hours.
Are Extended Evening Hours Available Every Night?
No. Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are offered on select nights at select Walt Disney World theme parks.
Visitors should check whether EPCOT specifically appears on the schedule for their travel date.
EPCOT World Showcase Hours
World Showcase is one of EPCOT’s major themed areas, featuring country pavilions, restaurants, shops, and cultural experiences.
Although EPCOT’s official calendar provides the park’s overall operating hours, individual World Showcase experiences can follow different schedules.
When Does World Showcase Open?
There is no single independently confirmed opening time that should be applied to every World Showcase restaurant, shop, and attraction throughout 2026.
For accurate planning, check the operating information for the particular experience you want to visit.
Do World Showcase Restaurants Close With the Park?
Not necessarily. Restaurant reservations, food-service schedules, and final seating times may differ from the park’s general closing time.
A restaurant’s listed dining availability is more useful than the park’s closing time when planning a meal.
EPCOT Fireworks and Nighttime Entertainment Hours
EPCOT features nighttime entertainment, but performance schedules should be checked independently of park operating hours.
Disney’s official calendar listed Luminous The Symphony of Us at 9:00 PM for October 7–11, 2026.
That schedule does not guarantee a 9:00 PM performance on every future date.
Can You Watch Fireworks at EPCOT Closing Time?
On the dates listed above, the nighttime spectacular was scheduled at the same time as regular park closing.
Guests should confirm the entertainment schedule on their visit date, since performances may be changed or canceled.
EPCOT Festival Hours
EPCOT hosts seasonal festivals featuring food, entertainment, merchandise, and special activities.
Festival dates and operating arrangements are not interchangeable with regular park hours.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2026
Disney lists the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival as running from August 27 through November 21, 2026.
For October 7–11, the official calendar listed the festival from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
However, individual festival marketplaces and activities may have their own schedules. The festival’s published hours should not be treated as a guarantee that every booth opens at 9:00 AM.
Do EPCOT Festivals Extend Park Hours?
A festival does not automatically extend the park’s operating day.
Special events, entertainment, dining, and festival offerings may have separate schedules, so guests should review each relevant listing.
EPCOT Holiday Hours 2026
EPCOT’s operating hours during major holidays depend on the official schedule for each date.
There is no single holiday timetable that applies universally to every holiday.
| Holiday | 2026 Date | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Halloween | October 31 | Check official calendar |
| Thanksgiving | November 26 | Check official calendar |
| Christmas Eve | December 24 | Check official calendar |
| Christmas Day | December 25 | Check official calendar |
| New Year’s Eve | December 31 | Check official calendar |
| New Year’s Day | January 1, 2027 | Check official calendar |
These entries are not confirmations of opening or closing times. Holiday-specific operating hours should be checked once Disney publishes or updates the relevant dates.
Is EPCOT Open on Christmas Day?
The exact operating schedule for Christmas Day 2026 should be confirmed through Disney’s official calendar. Do not rely on a regular October schedule for a December holiday visit.
Does EPCOT Stay Open Later on New Year’s Eve?
New Year’s Eve may have special entertainment and operating arrangements, but a specific closing time for December 31, 2026, should not be assumed without checking the official schedule.
EPCOT Dining, Shopping, and Attraction Hours
A park operating schedule is not the same as a complete schedule for every experience inside the park.
| Experience | What to Check |
|---|---|
| Attractions | Individual attraction operating status |
| Table-service restaurants | Dining reservations and restaurant hours |
| Quick-service restaurants | Location-specific service hours |
| Shops | Individual operating information |
| Nighttime entertainment | Published performance schedule |
| Festival marketplaces | Festival-specific availability |
| Special events | Separate event times and admission rules |
For example, an attraction may be temporarily unavailable even while EPCOT is open. Similarly, a restaurant may stop accepting guests before the park closes.
Checking individual experiences is particularly important when planning a tightly scheduled visit.
